With a Built-in Post Processor, no other software is required to
convert DXF
downloads to cutting programs.
Micro CAD – Creates An Infinite Shape Library
The on-board Micro CAD allows simple editing of any program. Using
the simple editing tools on the Micro CAD, operators can quickly
create a new program from any existing program.
Laser Pointer – Provides Faster & More Precise Set Up
With ProMotion Controls Tool Locator software, standard on iCNC
Controllers, it’s easy and accurate to add a laser pointer
to locate corners of the plate for plate alignment, performing
a teach of remnant plate or simply finding a starting point for
a new job. Operators can count on the best utilization of material.
Camera Torch – Improves Set Up on Wider Machines
Adding a camera above a torch on larger gantry is possible because
of the PC-based technology of the iCNC controller. No more wasted
time for operators having to walk
over to the other side to see if the torch is on the material. Simply
turn on the camera
and look at the iCNC.
Process Database – Enables Cut Quality Consistency
With our Processor Database you can build specific tables of cutting
processes. For example, operators can set cutting speed, kerf, pierce
time delay, etc. for each type of material and thicknesses. Once
the Process Database is established, operators need only select type
of material, thickness and tool, and all corresponding cutting processes
will change accordingly. With this tool, every operator will cut
each material and thickness with consistency.
Cost Calculator – Lets Operators See Cost Difference
Our standard iCNC Cost Calculator feature enables operators to
calculate their true cost of cutting a single part or a nest.
In addition, it shows the exact cutting time necessary to complete
a job. This information can also be used to help produce customer
quotes.
Fill The Plate – Gets Parts Out of Your Scrap
Take advantage of all usable space on nest. Automatically places
small parts in the scrap
area and inside parts that are normally drops.
Torch Hold On Slowdown – Cuts Holes Slower without Changing
Cutting Program
To maximize cut quality of small holes even more, operators can now
manually turn down cut speed with confidence. With iCNC control intelligence,
the controller automatically senses the moment when cutting speed
has been temporarily slowed down from the initial program speed.
It automatically freezes proper torch height.
Diagnostic Capabilities – Faster Trouble Shooting
The built in diagnostic allows looking at all of the inputs and
outputs with the need of qualified technicians on site. With
factory guidance over the telephone and using the diagnostic
feature locating the problem can be quick and easy.
Advance Marking – Easier to Generate Text or Center Point for
Marking
Quickly create a text on any cutting program to identify a part,
or covert small holes (that can not be cut) on programs to center
point marks. The center points marks can be used a drill marks to
drill out the small hole that was originally programmed.
Auto Nesting on Variable Size Sheets -- Saves on Material Cost
Purchase odd size plates with no worries. Input the size of the
sheet to ProMotion Nest software and it will optimize the best
nest possible. Generally, odd size plates can cost less
so why not take advantage of the lower cost.
Remote Trouble Shooting – Creates Virtual Service Technician
Using the web, ProMotion Controls personnel can easily diagnose
your iCNC. We can trouble shoot or set up new parameters to improve
your machine without the expense of sending a service technician,
saving you time and money.
Open Architecture Technology – Expands Control Capability & Flexibility
With the dual processor design in the iCNC, one microprocessor
is used for Windows. Therefore, the other processor can be used
for additional software, i.e., CAD software.

You can also communicate with machine operators using Microsoft Outlook
